About us

A Year In Review

15th December 2017

With your help, 2017 was an incredible success!

In 2017, PeaceJam increased its global impact of peace. We hosted over 15 conferences internationally, including our first ever conference in Liberia during their elections allowing PeaceJam to play a role in the country’s peaceful transfer of power. All of this was made possible through the generosity of people like you who have been integral to our mission and so, we thank you. Please consider supporting our upcoming 2018 initiatives.

Over 34 Million Acts of Peace

The Billion Acts of Peace campaign reached a milestone of 34.7 million acts of peace committed in over 145 countries, and launched a new tool allowing students and adults the ability to create a portfolio of their service work that can be easily shared with colleges and prospective employers. Lets end 2017 on a high note by Creating 1000 Acts of Peace by Dec 31st!
All of this was made possible through the generosity of people like you who have been integral to our mission and so, we thank you. Please consider supporting our upcoming 2018 initiatives.

More About PeaceJam

For over 20 years, PeaceJam has been creating young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities, and the world through a year-long, ongoing educational program for youth ages 5-25. PeaceJam is the only organization in the world with 14 Nobel Peace Laureates working together long-term for a common cause – the leadership development of our youth.
Since our inception, more than 1.2 million young people worldwide have participated, 330 Youth Conferences have connected youth worldwide with Nobel Peace Laureates, and nearly 2.5 million community service projects were developed by PeaceJam participants. And we see the impact every day – participants in PeaceJam programs make significant gains in academics, show increased engagement at school and in the community, and incidents of violence decrease where PeaceJam programs are implemented.

As we close the door on 2017, we ask for your continued help – help to inspire, educate and encourage action around the world. Please consider making a donation of $50, $100, or $250 to support the important work of the PeaceJam Foundation, the Nobel Legacy Film Series, and our Billion Acts Campaign. A PeaceJam donor has volunteered to match each donation, up to $5,000, through the end of the year, so we encourage you to make your gift today. Together, with your help, we are unstoppable.
